Lois B. Laser, age 94, of W. Center Street, Waldron, Michigan passed away Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was born August 19, 1909 in Waldron, Michigan to Bartly Amos and Millie (Coman) Laser.

Lois was a life long Waldron area resident. She retired from Waldron Schools in 1972 after 42 years of teaching, graduated from Waldron High School in 1927 and received a B.S. Degree from Western Michigan in 1959.

Lois attended the Waldron Wesleyan Church, was a member of Waldron Literary Club, Hillsdale County MEA and State of Michigan MEA.

Surviving Lois are two nieces, Chloan (Stan) Smith of Adrian and Nancy Schang of Morenci; two nephews, Howard (Colleen) Laser and Bob (Jeanne) Laser all of Waldron; several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Raymond and Rex Laser in infancy.

Funeral services for Lois Laser will be Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Waldron with Rev. Rex Flickinger officiating. Interment will follow in Waldron Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
